Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers lovely rooms overlooking a gorgeous garden, superb service, and a perfect location within walking distance of Whitby. The friendly staff were outstandingly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The dining experience was excellent with attentive service, although the breakfast portion was a bit limited. Overall, the hotel provided a pleasant and clean place to stay, with a welcoming atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, with bright and comfy rooms offering a nice view of the garden. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. The location brought me right out at the harbor in Whitby, offering a fantastic walk into town and access to nearby attractions. The dining experience was great, with a wide choice of delicious options. However, the rooms lacked the character of the building above and the WiFi had to be paid for separately.
The hotel is lovely and warm, clean, and offers a good size room on the 2nd floor-attic. The bathroom is spacious with a shower cubicle and amenities like a hairdryer, kettle, ironing board, and flat-screen TV. The personalized service by the owners and staff is exceptional with fantastic breakfast. The location in Ruswarp is great, a quiet village close to Whitby and the railway station, offering a lovely atmosphere with a local pub nearby. The dining experience is excellent with fresh farm-to-table products. A few minor downsides are that dining options need to be ordered in advance and the Wi-Fi is not included, but overall, it delivers great value for money.
